Altona's Big Breakfast! 21/05/2008 11:38am

On Wednesday May 28, Wettenhalls Group hosted a "Biggest Cuppa" BBQ Breakfast, raising money towards Cancer research. A note donation was required to attend the BBQ, and a raffle was also conducted for all Victorian Branches (unfortunately due to time limitations interstate branches were not included in the raffle). Breakfast commenced at 4.30am, with Leanne Purdy-South, Karen Hardwick, Anna Waldron, Shae Bradshaw and Carmel Skiathis all kindly volunteering their time.

Everyone, from drivers and ground staff to Senior Management enjoyed the yummy breakfast of eggs, bacon, sausages, tomatoes, hash browns, mushrooms, toast and orange juice. Finishing at 8.30am, the breakfast, raffle and can shake raised $794.90, and a big thank you must go to National Foods, Ray's Outdoors, Kmart and Wettenhalls Management for donating the wonderful prizes for the raffle.

Due to the huge success of the breakfast we are pleased to announce the Wettenhalls Group will be holding the fundraiser all year round ending with another "Biggest Cuppa" breakfast at the same time next year. The challenge is set for the other Depots to become involved in helping a great cause.
