Wettenhalls expand warehouse capacity 13/08/2011 10:23am

We are pleased to announce the relocation of our Altona based operations including the National Support Office (NSO), to a much larger facility at 33-47 Doherty’s Road, Laverton North.

The reason for our move is to meet the requirements of our clients for additional warehouse space together with the need for a larger cross-docking area.

The Doherty’s Road site provides us with approximately four (4) times the undercover warehouse area, with an option of further space when required and comes set up with fully palletised racking allowing us to commence operations at the new site without interruption.

We have also deployed a new warehouse management system (WMS), incorporating radio frequency (RF) terminals, which will allow us to fully automate our warehousing and cross dock functions.

The larger warehouse together with the new WMS will provide Wettenhalls with a real and tangible competitive advantage in our market.
